LEARN MORE

Since TJSinvest's investment management services are bundled into a wrap fee, we're able to offer clients a more valuable experience than most other advisors. This is primarily due to two features of our service detailed below:

1. Partial Shares: When you purchase a stock, you'd normally be expected pay that stock's market price. On the other hand, this can be detrimental to your ability to diversify. For example, you have $1,000 and you'd like to diversify it evenly among ten stocks. In this example, each stock would need to cost exactly $100 to meet your desired allocation; however, their prices fluctuate daily, so this would be nearly impossible. We've solved this problem by giving clients the ability to purchase any dollar amount worth of each stock by purchasing only a portion.

Buying full shares can also create potential opportunity costs. Say there's $100 leftover in your account but an additional share costs $150, you'd be unable to make the purchase, leaving $100 in cash and thus sacrificing it's potential yield as it's value depreciates from inflation. However, in an account at TJSinvest, only 2/3rds of that share would be purchased, leaving no money behind.

2. No Additional Transaction Fees: With many advisors, you'll pay a transaction fee of up to $5 every time a transaction is made in your account. That makes it difficult for people who'd like to start out with a small investment and/or invest small increments overtime because it inhibits dollar-cost averaging. Dollar-cost averaging is the practice of investing money in recurring increments overtime to limit the investment accounts exposure to short-term market fluctuations. With a TJSinvest account, you can be sure to make the most of your deposits because there are no additional transaction fees.

Combine these features with our tax technologyadvanced strategy, and easy-to-use mobile app; you've got a truly unique offering.
